About Mr. Stubbs
Justin Stubbs is in his 13th year of teaching and is excited to be part of the Children's Learning Adventure (CLA) team for the 2024-2025 school year as their GA Pre-K teacher. He earned a B.S. in Special Education from Georgia College & State University, an M.Ed. in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia, and his Ed.S. in Education back at Georgia College.
Before joining CLA, Mr. Stubbs was in Fulton County Schools teaching Kindergarten and then Dekalb County Schools for four years. While in Dekalb, he taught Technology at the GLOBE Academy for two years in a K-3 school, Special Education in 1st grade at Sagamore Hills, and was a Kindergarten Teacher both at Redan Elementary and Westchester Elementary (the latter being part of City Schools of Decatur).
From 2015-2017, Mr. Stubbs was an Instructional Technology Specialist at the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School where he integrated technology into the elementary school. Mr. Stubbs started his career in 2012 at College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center in Decatur where he was a preschool teacher for two years before becoming a Pre-K teacher.
While he was born in Washington D.C., Mr. Stubbs moved to Decatur when he was two and grew up there. He loves reading, sports, and board games (and of course his wife)!
